Probably christened Maria Elisabetha, but this is not included in any of Humphrey's transcriptions for Berks, Lehigh, or Montgomery Counties, and doesn't show in Rev. Stoever's records. Records in Berks and Lehigh are mostly later than her birth. Her parents were already living near the Blue Mountain by 1752 when her father signed a road petition, so she was probably born in what is now Lynn Twp, Lehigh Co, PA. Records of baptisms at the Jerusalem (Red) Church near Kistler Valley don't begin until 1763. An estimate of her birthdate has been 1753, but since women tended to be 5 years younger than their husbands, and Heinrich Keller was b. 12 Dec 1755, she may have been born about 1760-62.
