Willie was born in 1798 to William Joseph Kitchens Sr. (1747-abt.1805) and Frances (Hobby) Kitchens (1754-). Willie married Eliza English on 2 October 1817 in Warren, Georgia, United States.^[1]

In the 1830 census Wlee [Wiley] was in Warren, Georgia, United States. The household included one each male 10-14 and 30-39, on each female 5-9 and 20-29, and one enslaved male 10-23.^[3]
