Biography
...."Wilbert was born on 14 April 1939 in Fond du Lac, son of Ben and Lucy (Freund) Klapperich. The family lived in the Mount Calvary area and he attended local schools. On 15 October 1966 Wilbert was united in marriage with Arlene Risch at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. The couple settled in Lake Church and started their family, later moving to Fredonia in 1972. Mr. Klapperich worked for Gehl Company in West Bend for 35 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Divine Savior Parish. Willie enjoyed working outside, and loved helping his brother on the farm. He also liked going to auctions, listening to polka music and was a big fan of the Brewers."....
