They emigrated to the United States and are listed in the 1850 Hermann, Gasconade, Missouri census, taken 16 August,.Their 3 children are Amelia b. 1839; Emily b. 1841 also in Prussia; and Bertha b. May 1850 in Missouri-she's 3/12 mos. In this census. Johannes is employed as either a brick maker or brick mason-difficult to read. There's a record for Catharine Emilie Kleeb baptized 23 May 1841, Evangelisch, Siegen, Westfalen, Prussia, probably the Emily listed in the census, and Amelia was christened there too.Juedeman-1 20:51, 6 January 2016 (EST)
