My adoptive name is Matthew Brett Kleid. I was born February 27, 1987, Christopher Joseph O'Conner, in St. Mary's County, Maryland. My biological father fancifully changed the family name from Conner. My direct male ancestor was John Conner, who emigrated to the Delaware Colony sometime it the 1780s.
I currently reside in Baltimore City, Maryland, and I am a member of the Kleid-Lesser family. I became interested in genealogy in 2017, when I was gifted a DNA test, though I had always wanted to find my biological family. Now, I want to help others in their quests using the skills I have gained from finding my own.
Have you taken a DNA test? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

This is a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far?
I see that you loaded a GEDCOM. Do you have questions about the GEDCOMpare process?
Have the tips in the New Member How-Tos been helpful? Most of us still have some questions after reviewing them.
I'm here to help with issues and questions about how WikiTree works. Click my name to send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page.

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, you can often find a working version in the public comments on your profile.

Based on the comments in you biography you should take a look at the following to assist you
I am amased at the number of profiles you have created, it is so nice to see this level of enthusiasm. I reviewed a few of yourprofiles please take some time to revist the ones already created to add location data and sources see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources
Locations are important in assisting in sourcing profiles please look through the how to pages Ludwig sent you the link. These pages are recommended reading to assist new members and to help avoid too many errors being made and lack of location and dates create errors.

Because Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches dates of profile, avoid abbreviations, add citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources
The US History Project would be of interest. Adding the tag US_History will connect you
Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic please read the goals & tasks of the project

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
PS If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section of your profile page.
