Biography

Christian was born in 1838 to Carl Kleine and Anna Ilsabein.^[1] At age fourteen, he migrated with his parents and siblings to the United States aboard the ship Juno, arriving in New York in 1852.^[2] He married Louise Meier in 1859.^[3] He passed away in 1902. ^[4]

• Christian was missed in the FamilySearch indexing of the passenger list of the Juno. He is on the list in the image as Christianus Kleine.
