Biography

Catherine was born in Virginia about 1763 to parents Jacob and Eva Kline. She was married to John Hammock in 8 Apr 1788. They lived in Hampshire, Virginia and had 5 children: Sarah Sallie Hammack 1790–1881, Jacob Hammack 1791–1845 or 1852, Rebecca Hammack 1795–1876, Samuel Hammack 1798–1832, and Abraham Hammack 1806–1865. John died in 1853. According to his will, Catherine was still living at that time. Her date of death is unknown.
