Marshall V. Kline
Marshall V. Kline, 78, of Smithsburg, Rt 3, died suddenly at his home on Saturday monring. Born in Pondsville, he was the son of Victor and Ada Jane Lum Cline and was a poultry fancier for over 50 years. He had won awards from poultry showings in the East. He was also employed as a truck farmer and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Greensburg and Mineola Tribe No. 114 Redman of Litersburg.
He is survived by his son, Charles Victor Kline, at home, half brother, W. Kellar McPherson of Smithsburg, Rt 2. Services will be held at the Minnich Funeral Home in Smithsburg on Tuesday at 10 am. The Rev. Henry R. Neikirk will officiate; burial in Smithsburg Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 pm.
