Biography
Johann Georg Klug was born on 29 April 1660 in Rückers[1]. He was the eldest son of innkeeper Conrad Klug and Kunigunda.
Like his father, he served as innkeeper of Zum Engel in Rückers. He was also Schultheiß, head of the village or mayor, of Rückers.
He married Maria Wiegel of Flieden on 12 August 1691 in Flieden[2]. They had the following children together:

He passed away on 1 March 1715 in Rückers[3]. His son-in-law Johann Caspar Seng took over the family business after his passing, as none of his sons were old enough to serve as innkeeper, and the Rückers inn remained in the Seng family for generations.
