Biography

Ebenezer was born in 1730. He as the son of Ebenezer Knapp and Elizabeth Finch. He passed away in 1809.

He serve as a private in Elmore's Battalion, Connecticut Regiment during the Revolutionary War.

Marriage:

  1. He married Mary Westover in 1753 in1753 Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut Colony. Their children were Zadock Ezra Knapp (1755–1842), Elizabeth Knapp (1756–1829), Hannah Knapp(1759–?), Mary Polly Knapp (1761–1779), Martha Knapp (1762–1851), Jerusha Knapp (1764–?), William Knapp (1766–Deceased), Samuel Knapp (1767–1825), Thankful Knapp (1770–?), Ebenezer Knapp Jr. (1772–1821) and Mary Knapp (1774–1800).
  2. He married Mary Wilson on 20 April 1780 in Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut.

Ebenezer passed away on 11 June, 1809 in Greenbush, Rensselaer, New York followed with burial. Burial details unknown.
