Biography

Warner was born in 1897. He was the son of Robert Knight and Mary Taylor. He passed away in 1976.

Obituary

Warner Knight Fort Worth Warner Percy Knight, 78, a former Midland resident, died Sunday in a Fort Worth hospital.

Services were set for 4 p.m. today in the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth of which Knight was a member. Entombment will be at Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth. Harveson and Cole Funeral Home of Fort Worth is handling arrangements.

Knight, born April 1, 1897 in Erin, Tenn. was a Midland resident from 1927 to 1959. He bought Oilfield Specialty Company and moved to Fort Worth in 1959.

He was a member of the Midland Petroleum Club, the Scottish Rite, Moslah Shrine Temple and a 50-year member Ed Worsham Lodge No. 505 AF and AM.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; a daughter, a brother, George A. Knight of Odessa; a sister; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Shrine's Cripple Children's Hospital in Dallas.
