His will is dated 28 Nov 1864 • Daviess County, Kentucky
- Charles left 50 acres each of his land, plus all of his livestock and household furnishings, to Children: George D., James D., and Nancy Knight. The tobacco crop went to sons James and George. The remaining land was split evenly between Nathaniel, Joshua, and Charles. Executor: ?Phocian? Harris. Witnesses: Henry ?Pugan? and John L. Kirk. Proved January 21, 1865.
