William Ashburn Knight was born in 1829 in Hillsborough, Orange, North Carolina, United States, son of Wiley K. Knight (~1807–1884) and Nancy Clinton (~1807–1914).[1]
In 1850, William (20) Night was in the household of Wiley Night in Jackson, Tennessee. [1]
William died on May 25, 1862 in Silver Point, Putnam, Tennessee, aged 32.[3][4][5]
