Biography

In the 1881 census Mary (age 41) was the wife of John Mitchell in Brucklay, New Deer, Aberdeenshire.^[1]

Mary died on 8 Sep 1925 she was the widow of John Mitchell, Station Master. Aged 85 she died at Glassel, Kincardine O'Neil. Her parents noted as James Knight, manure agent and Mary Knight ms ---- both deceased . The informant was Peter Thomson, son in law who was present, the death was registered in the Kincardine O'Neil (Aberdeen) district.^[2]
