Biography
Elizabeth Knight was born in 1795 in Heathfield, Sussex, her father, John, was 23, and her mother, *Ann, was 22. She married George Ellis on 3 October 1814 in her hometown. They had 11 children in 19 years. She died in April 1877 in Hailsham, Sussex, having lived a long life of 82 years.
