Notes to Edit after this Record is merged with a duplicate

The couple's presence on Matacumbe Key in 1900 is of interest. Along with several of her siblings, Susan seems to have emigrated from Rock Sound around 1889 to live in a farming community. Susan and her husband lived near the family of William and Amy Parker (parents of Edney Parker) , a family that became well known on Matacumbe..

The Adams dwelling was next to that of Susans's brother Thomas (b Sept 1872) who was newly married to Grace M (b. 1875) .

Abram Carey and Mary A (nee Knowles??) lived with their son Alonzo b Oct 1889 were in the next home- it is not clear that this couple was related- but this Abram was likely the second Spouse of Grace M Curry Knowles, married in 1912.

4 doorways away there lived Abram T (Thomas) Knowles b,.Aug 1866(spouse of Grace M. Curry b. 1875, do Matilda Curry married in 1900**) whose was a naturalized citizen. Abram's household included his newly wed brother Alexander b Jan 1878 and sister in law Mary L. (Mary Louise Russell.)

Mary passed away 1944 in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and was buried at the Key West Cemetery.
