Date of birth is an estimate. Richard would have been 25 when her daughter was born. There is a Richard Knowles (from Ireland born 1842) who is the father of Alice Knowles from Reigate but his wife and the mother of Alice Knowles is Sarah Coomber. ^{[2] [3]}
