Hello Bill This is my family that I have been researching since the 70s Grew up right beside where the whole family lived and have even written a book on the family. anything you want to know about them I can answer your questions.. BTW, K is not jAMES middle initial. Someone on the internet wrote that in to tell the difference between his father and him. None of the siblings had a middle name. Would love to converse. Hello Bill,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Sources are very important here on Wikitree, especially on Pre-1700 profiles. It is how we show where we got the info and help others find it too. Find out more about sources here and more detailed info here.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

If you have any questions, click reply below this message and I will get back to you.

Thanks for signing the Honor Code, Bill. I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that I found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, let us know by using the "reply" link under our comments or by clicking our names to visit our profiles. From there you can leave a comment or send a private message.

Hi Bill,

A warm welcome to WikiTree. You are now a member and can add your family to the big tree!

Click here to start with our New Member How To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.

I hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!
