Edith Evans, 30, married the widower farmer, Samuel Knowles, on 26 Mar 1905 in the home of her father, Isaac Evans, on Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas. The witnesses were William H Carey and Clara Carey (possibly her sister).^[1]

They had the following children:

• Unnamed male, stillborn, b 13 Mar 1906 ^[2], d 13 Mar 1906, in Glenelg Eleuthera, Bahamas^[3]
• Unnamed female, b 23 Dec 1907, in Glenelg Eleuthera, Bahamas^[4]
• Unnamed male, b 28 Dec 1910, in Tarpum, Bahamas^[5]
