Biography
Fanelia Knowlton was born in 1765 in Ashford, Connecticut to William Knowlton and Mehitable Eaton.
She married Stephen Eaton, son of Josiah Eaton and Sibbel Johnson Eaton, 12 November 1781 in Ashford. "Stephen, m. Fannela Knowlton, Nov. 12, 1781." The couple had children - among them Catherine, Zoa, Cadnial, and Mehitable Eaton.
The Eatons moved with their family to Albany County, New York before 1800 and eventually settled in Manlius, Onondaga County. Twenty five years later, they were residing in Pompey.
Fanelia (Phanely) Knowlton Eaton died in Pompey, Onondaga County, New York in May 1831 at 66 years of age.
