Biography

Jean was probably born in about 1670, and she was the daughter of John Knox, minister of North Leith Her 4 x great-grandfather was William Knox, father of John Knox the Great Reformer. [1] In 1691 she married John Tullideph, minister of North Leith, Edinburgh. [2] She died childless less than three years after the marriage, when John remarried.
