The farm book for Hjørundfjord speculates whether Anders Knudsen could be Anders Knudsen Hustad (from bnr 1).^[1]

Anders was 34 years old in the 1666 male census, making him born about 1632. He lived at Hustad in Hjørundfjord. His son, Jetmund Anderss. (age 2) was also listed.^[2]

Anders Knudsen married Marte Ellingsdatter Hustad, date unknown. Anders is listed as Marte's first husband in her 1691 probate record.^[3][4] They lived at Hustad in Hjørundfjord. The following children of his are listed in his wife's probate record:
