William Koch was of German decent. He and Eleanor had 3 children. William was tragically "lost at sea" in 1909. As a consequence Eleanor was declared a pauper. One child was raised in a work house, one was deported to Canada as a "child of the church" , the remaining child was raised by grandparents. The two children in England lost contact with their brother in Canada.
