Henry Ludwig Kohl was born November 21, 1880 and died on June 21, 1967. [1]
On October 30, 1906, Henry Ludwing Kohl and Elisabeth Ruffing were married. [2] She was born on November 6, 1881 in Washington County, Wisconsin and died on March 7, 1975 at the age of 93.[3] Her parents were Peter and Margareth Ruffing, of Washington County. Her parents may have been Catholic since her father is buried in the cemetery of a local Catholic Church.[4]

From his WWII registration card dated April 25, 1942, we learn his address was RFD 3, Wayne Township, WI. He was 61 years old. It states his birth date was November 21, 1880 and he was born in Wisconsin. He was self employed. He was described as white, 5ft-8in tall, brown eyes, Grey hair, light complexion, and 165 lbs. [5]
From his son Otto's obituary, we learn that Henry had been active in the Kohlsville Fire Department and that by including his son on calls, Otto became associated with the fire department his whole life.
His birth and death is also noted in the US Social Security index. [6] And from his gravestone. He was buried at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend, WI. [7]
