Aamund Kolbeinsen Mo was born about 1661 at Moane in Hjørundfjord, Møre og Romsdal, Norway, son of Kolbein Olsen (~1600 - ~1685).
In the 1666 male census, Aamund (age 5) was the son of Kolben Olss. (age 66) at Moe in Hjørundfjord.[1] His brothers Ole Kolbenss. (age 8) and Joen (age 1 1/2) were also listed.
In the 1701 male census, Aamund (age 51) was the head of household at Mou in Hjørundfjord.[2] His brother Olle Colbeens (age 54) was listed with him as a lodger.
Aamund's probate 18 May 1707, Moe in Hjørundfjord, names his widow Kirsten Nielsdatter and no children, but does name Aamund's siblings:[3][4]
