It happened in the city of Konstantynów on the second fourteenth day (JulianGregorian calendar 14 is the right one) of January in the eighteen hundred and fifty-third year at one o'clock in the afternoon. Orthodox Jew Abram Kolski, a weaver aged twenty-six, a resident of Konstantynów, appeared in the presence of witnesses Markus Lajzerowicz, a cobbler (shoemaker) aged forty-one, and Lajzer Ciechanowski, a baker (or Shames assistant) sixty-two years old, both residents of Konstantynów, and showed to us an infant of the male gender born here in Konstantynów yesterday in the current year at seven o'clock in the evening by his wife Ruchla née Jakubowiecz age twenty-four. The child was given the name Boruch. This document was read aloud to those appearing and signed by the Officer of Civil Registration and those present.
