Jacobus was born before 1724. He is the son of Leendert Cool and Sara VanGarden.
Kingston baptism notice Oct. 18 1724 for Jacobus Kool, # 3267 in Hoes, says baptism took place in Rochester. Witnesses were Jacob and Beeletjen Kool.
Marriage notice June 9 1748, #1100 in Hoes, for Jacobus Elmendorph Kool and Maria de Pue, says both resident in Rochester.
