Biography
Mary was born in 1904. She was the daughter of George Kornbau and Matilda Shearer. She passed away in 1991.
Obituary
Mary Rebecca Hamberger, 87, of York died at 6:15 am Wednesday at the York Rehab Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul Cornelius Hamberger. they were married November 20, 1926, York County.
The service will be 1:30 pm Friday at the Salem United Church of Christ, Jacobus. Burial will be in Mount rose Cemetery, Section A, York. Heffner Funeral Home of Jacobus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hamberger was born in York Township. She was the daughter of the late George and Atillia Shearer Kornbau. She was a sewing machine operator with Jomax Co.
She is survivied by three sons, Gerald M, Glenn E, Larry A. A daughter Gladys Blauser; seven grandchildren' four great grandchildred, a brother Clarence Kornbau and a sister Pauline Kornbau Emig. She was preceded by the following brothers and sisters, Pius, Lloyd, Cletus, Olevia Campbell.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, Rev. Fred a. Walthour.
