Hy word burger in 1735
In 1747 keer hy, met sy vrou en 4 kinders, terug na Europa. Dit wil se dat sy nageslag in Suid Afrika slegs deur sy seun Hermanus Lucas voortgeplant is.
He arrived at the Cape as a soldier on the "Castricum" on 7 December 1733. [1]
