Martin Krauze [Krause/Kraus], 28, of "Gireni," was the son of Albert Krauze and unnamed mother.^[3]

Martin Krause has been said to be the son of Johanna Emilie / Emilie Johanna Lemberg and Eduard Otto. Because they had seven Otto children between 1859 and 1874, Johanna Emilie could not have had a son Martin Krause born in 1865 to Albert Krause.^[5]

Why is her name "Emilie Johanna Lemberg (Krause)" on the Lithuanian State Archives Dahms-Otto Families Genealogical Table?^[5]

Another source has a Johann Kraus, married in 1848, with a son Johann Kraus who married an Emilie Lemberg, daughter of Henriette Balsomir and Carl Leopold Lemberg. ^[6] Was another Emilie Lemberg confused with Johanna Emilie Lemberg? Was Albert Krause the same person as Johann Kraus?
