Biography

Sabina (Krause) Rominger has German Roots.
This profile is part of the Rominger Name Study.

Sabina was the daughter of Melchior Krause of Lancaster County PA. She married Johann Georg Fansler in PA in 1771.

Was her middle name Philipina as appeared in one version of this profile? Moravian records in North Carolina refer to her as Sabine or Sabina, but not Philipina. And was her baptismal name definitely Anna Sabina? Certainly she was called Sabina.

She was christened in 1749.

She married Jacob Rominger in Stokes County, North Carolina, in 1792: Records of the Moravians in North Carolina[1] 5:2379. Sept. 10, 1792, Friedland, Monday. " Last Tuesday Jacob Rominger married the sister of Wendel Krause."

Sabina and Jacob both died in 1816. She is buried at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Forsyth County, NC[2].

Krause-994 and Krause-417 appear to represent the same person because: Clearly the same person. We need to consolidate this and several other duplicate records for this family.
Krause-417 and Krause-271 appear to represent the same person because: Same husband Jacob Rominger. Need to keep data from Krause-417.
Kause-1 and Krause-417 appear to represent the same person because: Same dates, correspondence of at least one spouse; Krause is the correct spelling.
