Biography

Born at Freeling (dist Barossa) 1877. Grew up at Nikalapko Station on the River Murray north of Morgan. Around the time of the death of his father in 1905, Nikalapko was sold and John went with his brother, Edmond, to Mudamuckla near Ceduna. Married (common law) to a widow, Betty Maria Maher. He adopted her baby daughter, Margaret Ida (McCallum) and had a second daughter, Gladys Beryl (Hood) John Kreusler died at Ceduna (maybe at Warrender Wells ) in 1938 and was buried at Ceduna. [1]
