Born in Multnomah County Portland Oregon April 19, 1965.
I am named after John (Johann) Christian Kreutz born in Alsace-Loraine, Germany. The town was sometimes German, Sometimes French. (Though some take him a few miles east to Prussia. Both are listed at one time or another on his papers.)
I am an average lady 5'10", and in my 50's. I have been married 4 times, Patrick Arthur Massie, and I had two children. Our first, Richard, is named for my maternal uncle. Our second, Michelene, is actually named for a childhood friend that I had always revered.
My second husband, Dale (Del -legally changed, I have left the rest out for his privacy.) Johnston, and I didn't have any children together, we did try for a while, but that didn't work out. He had a daughter Named Crystal, whom was 5 when he and I got together. She remained with me and has since married, finally adding Kreutz as part of her name. (The rest is hidden for her privacy.)
My third husband Terry Akins, was more of a business venture or agreement. We agreed to marry so that if anything should happen to him during his deployment his estate would be given directly to his children Rachel and Jason (Adopted) and would bypass his previous wife, Rachel's mother. After his deployment, he went his way and I went mine.
My fourth and hopefully final husband, Geno Edwards has two boys from a previous marriage whom are both grown and gone now, but were in middle school when we got together.
I now have 5 grand children, 2 from Crystal (So, not blood related, however name related.) , 2 from Michelene and one from my son Richard.
I have worked many jobs, Author/illustrated one children's book, and one related color book, lived in many places, but continue to come home to Oregon. I love to create things, and I really like the creepy things. If you follow Blue collar Halloween llc (also have a website of the name).
My dream is retire on the Oregon Coast where I can watch the waves crash for the rest of my life.

Small world! My father's family was from Multnomah County, too. Do you know any Chapels or Van Schoonhovens?
Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and with whom you might have ancestors in common. It normally takes 24 hours from adding a test, or adding a new ancestor, or ancestor’s descendant, for WikiTree to display your name and test results on your ancestors and their descendants’ profiles for potential cousins to compare results with.
Have fun!

We've made a change in how the tutorials are sent to new members. Instead of weekly messages you can now work at your own pace.
How is it going so far? Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
You've been here for three weeks now! We hope your profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better. You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer. As always, your questions are welcome!

Thanks for joining us! Im David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree yesterday?
I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?
David ~ Wiki Mentor
As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree. Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.
You can also meet some of us in the G2G forum. Feel free to jump in, introduce yourself, and answer our Question Of The Week: Are you related to a Magna Carta Surety Baron?
If you have trouble with the links in this message, try clicking through from your profile page.
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer your questions.
