Wilhelm was born in 1862. He died in 1930 at the age of 67.

Parents: Jakob Krieg 1831 - 1898 and Katharina (Kasper) King 1838 - 1916.

Wilhelm came to the U.S. with his parents & siblings, arriving at Castle Garden, Port of New York on 4/16/1881 on the steamship "W. A. Schotlen". He married Mary Sophia Rebecca "Becky" Wilhelm on 3/3/1887 in Huntington County, Indiana. Rev. Charles M. Schaaf officiated. He farmed the 40 acres that his wife inherited from her father, Jakob Wilhelm.

Will and Becky lived all their married life on the Indiana farm except for 5 years when they homesteaded 160 acres near Marella, Cimarron County, Oklahoma & later moved to Texhoma, Texas County, Oklahoma where they owned a meat market. They then moved back to Lancaster Township, Huntington County, Indiana where their friends and family lived.
