Biography

Ernest Frederick Kruse was born around 1840, the son of Katherine Kruse (nee Hack) and Ernest Frederick Kruse.^[1]

He was a tobacconist and cigar manufacturer.^[2][3][4]

He married Elizabeth Redmond on 6 July 1876 at St. Philip's Church in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia.^[5][6] Their children were:

• Ernest Henry Kruse (1878?–1923)^[9]
• Adelaide May Kruse (1880–1976)^[10]

Ernest died on 9 November 1925 at Chiswick Private Hospital in Victoria, aged 85 years.^[14] His remains were interred at Melbourne General Cemetery in Carlton, Victoria.^[15]
