Biography
Herman was born in 1882 in Stavenhagen, Germany. According to his Naturalization Record he sailed from Bremen, Germany aboard the SS Grosser Kurfuerst, arriving at New Orleans, Louisianna July 30, 1900. His family settled in Taylor, Williamson, Texas where Herman married Louise Krueger in December 1909. The couple had five children and lived on a farm. Herman died in 1952 of lung cancer.
