Biography

Peter Heinrich Kruse was born at farm no. 1 in Grünewald in 1828 as first-born son and heir of farm owner Johann Hinrich Kruse and his wife Catharina Dorothea nee Harms, and baptized in Bienenbüttel on 23 November. In 1857, he took over the farm from his stepfather Jürgen Christoph Tiemann and married Catharine Elisabeth Klaepe of Bargdorf with whom he had seven children. He died at his farm in 1887 and was buried in Bienenbüttel on 2 February.^[1]
