Married first in 1720 (efter kungligt tillstånd) to Märta Eleonora Gyllensvärd, who was born 1701-08-04 at Bolmstad, Bolmsö parish, the daughter of Gustaf Adolf Gyllensvärd och Maria Eleonora Posse. Married second to Barbro Christina Gyllenpalm, born 1721 in Bolmsö parish, daughter of majoren Carl Johan Gyllenpalm and his first wife Märta Christina Gyllensvärd. Children, all from the first marriage:
- Adolf Fredrik Krusell, born 1721; ryttmästare; † 1781.
- Johan Georg Krusell, born 1722; kvartermästare; † 1771.
- Anna Maria Krusell.
- Olof Reinhold Krusell.
- Carl Magnus Krusell d y, born 1730; kvartermästare; † 1811.
- Nils Ludvig Krusell, born 1731; volontär.
- Erik Gustaf Krusell, born 1732; förare .
