The Baltimore Sun has an article regarding the drowning of John Kuhn. The article mentions that John lived with his parents "on Lancaster Street extended, at Highlandtown".

The Kuhns lived at 428 Eastern Avenue from 1873 - 1883. John is listed as a laborer, separate from his father, but still at the same address.

In 1884, Geo. Kuhn is listed as a distiller, "Lancaster, nr Clinton". John is not in the directory.
