Peter Kuhn was born about 1748 in Germany, son of Johannes Heinrich Kuhn (1720–1768) and Christina Kleber (~1720– ).[1]

He was in the military during the American Revolution. He was a private, who lived in and served for Pennsylvania. He served under Captain John Wood and James Poe.[4]

He was living in Antrim, Franklin, Pennsylvania in 1786.[5]

Later in his life, he and Catherine were living in the home of their son Adam. Also residing there were their daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. The home is listed in the Mennonite records in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.[6]

Peter passed away before 2 Apr 1804 in Antrim Township, Franklin, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 55.[7] [8][9]
