"REES A memorial service for Mrs. Emma "Mimi" Rees, 69, who died Tuesday after a short illness at the home of a daughter, Lois (Mrs. Robert) Graf of Pawlet, wiil be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Zion Episcopal Church in Manchester by the rector, the Rev. Canon Robert L. Clayton. Resident of Pawlet, most of her life, she was born in New Haven, Conn., Dec. 5, 1886 to Sebastian and Anna (Weber) Kunkel, and was married to the late Fred H. Rees. She belonged to Zion Episcopal Church, Friends OF Die Pawlet Library Association, Evening Flower chapter, OES, Crescent Valley Homemakers and the Auxiliary of the U.S. Soil & Water Conservation Service. In addition to her daughter in Pawlet, The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Mimi Rees Memorial Fund of the Pawlet Library. There are no calling hours. " [2]
