Maria Catharina KUHNZ and Catharina Barbara KUHNZ daughters of Johann Jacob KUHNZ, were confirmed 1744 at New Hanover Lutheran Ch in Montgomery Co. They appear to have been twins, but only Maria Catharina is listed at the 13 Jan 1730 baptism in Lower (northern) Alsace.. per Burgert's book on No. Alsace.

Maria Catharina KUHNZ and Catharina Barbara KUHNZ daughters of Johann Jacob KUHNZ, were confirmed 1744 at New Hanover Lutheran Ch in Montgomery Co. They appear to have been twins, but only Maria Catharina is listed at the 13 Jan 1730 baptism in Lower (northern) Alsace. This may be the Anna Barbara mentioned on the German records Lewis Levan found. She's not in the Niederbronn parish records, per Burgert. Robert A. Brobst said she was named Catharina Barbara, b. 13 Jan 1729/30 in Niederbronn (gave no source). Some researchers think Barbara KUNTZ was b. 13 Jan 1730 but m. Joh. Philip STAMBACH. The death date given on the Brobst web site is earlier than the marriage date given by Brinker; the 1809 death date is on another web site. Why did she go back to New Hanover after George Adam died?
