Biography

Jesse was born around 1800. The 1850, 1860, & 1870 census records would indicate that. The 1880 census has him born around 1802, but by then he was living in one of his children's household. That date is more likely to be incorrect.

He is the son of James Kuykendall and Mary Hambright.
