Peter can be found living with his parents and siblings in Putnam County, Tennessee at the time of the 1860 census. [3]
On 6 December 1866 he married Malinda Tinsley. [4] They were the parents of three children, Anna Mary, Martha Dorinda, and Ellis Tinsley Kuykendall. Peter, Malinda, and daughter Anna can be found in District 7 census records for Jackson County, Tennessee in 1870. [5]
On 11 November 1871, Noah Kuykendall sold a 69 acre tract in District 1 of Putnam County to his son Peter. [6]
Peter died on 2 April 1876 in Putnam County, Tennessee. He is buried in Smyrna Cemetery, Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee. [7]
