Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee and Jackson COUNTY, Tennessee are two separate and distinct places.

Jackson County is in Middle Tennessee lying on the northern border with Kentucky. Madison County is in south West Tennessee closer to Mississippi. The CITY of Jackson is in Madison County.

It is doubtful that Rebecca (Kuykendall) Draper was ever in the city of Jackson in Madison County, much less born there as the biography indicates.

Her marriage could not have taken place in Putnam County in 1848, since Putnam County did not exist at that time.

Putnam County was first established in 1842, but declared unconstitutional and dissolved in 1845. It wasn't reestablished until 1854. The marriage should show as Jackson County.

Rebecca's birth should be Jackson County, not the city of Jackson, which is in Madison County
