Biography
Jean L'Agé was born around 1707 in Switzerland. He is listed in a family record as a Genovese tailor, and soldier at the colonial post at Natchitoches [1].
Louise Lagé was baptized on the 30th day of January, June, or July, 1730, (the entry for the month is illegible after the letter "J") in Nachitoches. The church official was a missionary from the Adailles, named Pierre Campo. She was born the 29th of same month [unknown], legitimate daughter of Jean Lagé and Francoise Buard, habitants of this place. Godparents: Jean Mader (x) and Louise Duplecis (s). [1]
