Biography

Looking at the baptismal records of Francoise and Patrice's grandchildren, it is showing Francoise as (maiden name) "Laboucane". As are there other Laboucane (as well as other names). The information in the photo's of the baptisms are in French [1]

This is from family documents, but I am trying to source the information (and make corrections if needed). This is a WIP, and I am having difficulties due to the political tensions (in Canada) at the time.

On the 1901 (Canada) census: The census takers were the ones who were writing the information. You will note misspelling constantly! The Last name is Gervais (properly spelled). The family are my ancestors (which is how I know what the spelling is- and that the names are correct, as is the area; Saskatchewan).
