Jack LaLanne was an American fitness and lifestyle expert, television star, inventor, and motivational speaker.

Francois Henri "Jack" LaLanne was born in San Francisco, California on September 26, 1914.[1] He attended Berkeley High School, where he was a star quarterback for the Berkeley High Yellowjackets football team. [2][3] Jack was also a wrestler and participated in the American Amateur Federation Far Western Wrestling Championship tourney, representing the Oakland Y.M.C.A. in 1934. [4] He passed away in 2011. [5]
