Stefano la Sala, son of Vincenzo Simone la Sala and Biagia Cammarata, is born 22 November 1892 in Corleone and baptized 27 November, named after his paternal grandfather. His godparents are Giuseppe and Domenica Moscato, brother and sister.[1]

Stephan La Salla, age 24, registers for the WWI draft. He lives at 232 E. 107th St. in New York (Spanish Harlem), and was born 21 November 1892 in Corleone. He has declared his intention to naturalize. He is a piano worker, employed by Strauch Bros. at 13th St. & 10th Ave. [2]

Strauch manufacturers grand, upright, and player pianos.

He is unmarried and supports his mother. The registrar's report, dated 5 June 1917, describes Stephan as tall and slender, not balding, with brown hair and eyes.[2]
