Biography
Magloire Labbé was born on 12 Jun 1814 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Louis parish in Kamaouraska, Bas-Canada. He was the son of. Joseph Labbé, farmer, and Perpetue Bérubé of this parish. Sponsors at Magloire's baptism were François Bérubé and Euphrosine ____.; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 23 Magloire married Julie Audet on 28 Aug 1837 in Saint-Pascal parish in Kamouraska, Bas-Canada. There were seven known children born into this marriage.
